Eddie Lee & Closing Time
Headed by founder, singer songwriter and front man Eddie Lee upon his return from Nashville, the band enjoyed its first taste of success in 1997 with the release of its album “Eddie Lee & Closing Time”. The band released its first album self entitled “Eddie Lee & Closing Time” which included 11 of Eddie Lee’s self-penned songs. The CD found great reviews in Europe and received local radio support winning a new song competition against major label recording artists 5 weeks in a row. The band endured a rigorous schedule of shows and took over as the house band for 92.5 WBEE radio. Over the years Eddie Lee has had the pleasure of playing shows with the likes of Little Texas, Big House, Phil Vassar, Joe Nichols, Sammy Kershaw, Confederate Railroad, Joe Diffie, Aaron Tippin, Marty Stuart & Jarrod Niemann.
A project that featured Rowdy Kick It Up Country with a Honky Tonk Spirit and true country ballads.
Over the years a rigorous show schedule found them sharing the stage with greats Joe Diffie, Marty Stuart, Aaron Tippin, Phil Vassar, Little Texas, Sammy Kershaw, Confederate Rail Road, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Connie Smith
